Job SummaryThe Neuroscience Sales Specialist‑II is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within assigned territories in an ethical and compliant manner. The specialist develops superior product and disease‑state knowledge, engages in in‑depth clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals, creates local strategic and tactical plans, manages budgets, and collaborates with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Job Responsibilities- Drive sales performance to ensure forecasts are met or exceeded within the assigned territory by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers both in person and virtually while following compliance guidelines.
- Effectively use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives and customize discussions and client interactions based on customer needs.
- Maintain a current understanding of the local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers; share such information with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/regions.
- Work with the Regional Business Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives.
- Collaborate with other Neuroscience Sales Specialists on common objectives and share best practices.
- Accountable for providing timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.
- Effectively build a business plan based on depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources, and products.
- Complete all company and job‑related training as assigned within required timelines.
- 2+ years of previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, or medical device sales; 3+ years of sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
- Launch, antipsychotic, and/or bipolar sales experience highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, valid driver’s license, and safe driving record.
- Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and caregivers; patient‑centricity.
- High integrity and adherence to the Company’s compliance policies and procedures.
- Self‑motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial mindset, strong decision‑making judgment, teamwork and cross‑functional skills.
- Proven track record of learning and adapting to evolving environments (e.g., COVID‑19) and overcoming challenges.
- Agility and adaptability to changing telemedicine/virtual environments.
- Ability to analyze data/metrics to assess progress, diagnose performance issues, and identify new opportunities.
- Experience establishing new customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
- Work hours may include meetings scheduled outside normal working hours.
- Territories may require some overnight travel; domestic travel to headquarters, training, and sales meetings will also be required periodically.

Salary range for this position: $98,000 – $155,000.
