Dealer Account Manager
Remote – on the road. Westlake Financial, the largest privately held auto finance company in the United States, is expanding our Dealer Account Management team. This high‑earning, field‑based position offers a highly incentivized performance‑based compensation package and opportunities for career advancement.
Responsibilities- Educate and train current Dealer partners on Westlake programs and financing options.
- Acquire new dealer accounts, develop relationships and grow current and potential dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
- Follow‑up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Provide solutions, rehash and restructure vehicle loans for approval in a profitable manner for Westlake and the Dealer Partners.
- Assist with the preparation of sales contracts by educating the dealer on required verification for Westlake Financial.
- Constant and effective communication via phone and in‑person visits with dealer partners to train on current programs and fast funding requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in Automotive, Finance and Sales.
- 1‑2 year(s) previous experience in a Sales role with a proven track record of success.
- College degree (preferred or equivalent work experience).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Presentation skills from initial creation to delivery.
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
- Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
- Goal‑oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement.
- Desk‑bound and on‑road experience with dealers.
- Valid state driver’s license and significant local travel.
Target first‑year income: $60,000 – $130,000. Base salary plus performance‑based commissions. First year guaranteed minimum income starting at $5,000 monthly plus performance‑based commissions; thereafter, monthly base of $1,000 plus performance‑based commissions. Average representative earnings after one year exceed $160,000. No commission limit.
