The Account Manager will serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact for PURIS customers, ensuring a seamless customer experience by managing onboarding, ongoing interactions, and problem‑solving across all market segments. The role focuses on the Expectation and Competence phases of the customer journey, delivering frictionless information, nailing the basics, and fostering trust. By collaborating across internal teams—Supply Chain, TST, FSQR, Sales—the Account Manager drives operational efficiency and strengthens long‑term relationships.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring all interactions are seamless, efficient, and exceed expectations.
- Own the 30, 60, 90‑day sales forecast for each account while collaborating with Sales leaders for rolling 12‑18‑month forecasts.
- Build deep, multithreaded relationships with key stakeholders in customer organizations to foster loyalty and growth.
- Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with all customers, sharing insights on performance, trends, and opportunities.
- Oversee the handoff from deal closure to daily execution, ensuring a smooth transition for new customers.
- Update customers on lead‑time compliance and work to pull volume forward, communicating delays or operational issues proactively.
- Maintain a 24‑hour response time for inbound customer inquiries, requests, and issue resolution.
- Act as a customer advocate by triaging requests to Supply Chain, TST, and FSQR, ensuring timely resolution.
- Drive a CAPA culture, tracking complaints and delivering clear, transparent resolutions aligned with PURIS values.
- Identify and resolve recurring issues to prevent disruptions in the customer experience.
- Learn about customers’ businesses to identify mutual value‑creation opportunities (Cost Savings, Innovation, Sustainability).
- Support account growth by collaborating with Sales to identify and execute upsell opportunities.
- Leverage Hub Spot and other CRM tools to track interactions, Q outcomes, and key performance metrics.
- Develop workflows for managing key aspects of the customer journey, including complaint resolution, sample requests, and account updates.
- Report customer updates, challenges, and opportunities to the PURIS cross‑functional team, ensuring alignment across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of outside sales experience in industrial manufacturing sales or similar front‑facing customer roles.
- Ability to develop strong rapport with existing and prospective customers.
- Proven ability to communicate and sell technical benefits.
- Self‑motivated, team‑oriented, results‑driven.
- Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database for reporting.
