We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Bilingual Technical BD & Sales Professional to join our team!
Responsibilities- Identify potential new customers within the defined OEM market segment and region, qualify and develop them as necessary to achieve new business sales in line with company strategy.
- Pro-actively engage with existing customers within the defined OEM market segments and region in all activities both current and potential, with a view to maximize Sales and organic Sales growth
- Be the “Face of the company”; lead new development projects by pro-active contact with the prospect or customer, and VPG R&D, Engineering, QA and other associated parties to ensure timely and successful completion of the project. Manage development projects from conception to completion.
- Negotiate contracts, meet with purchasing, procurement and other key decision makers in order to establish firm and profitable customer relationships.
- Analyze and report key sales and project management data and forecast future expectations for the region.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business / Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical / Electronics / Electromechanical)
- Bilingual in Spanish / English
- 10+ years of experience in sales and business development of Industrial Automation products /Sensors (weighing, force) to OEMs (Packaging, Robotics, Medical, Machine Builders, Construction, Agriculture etc.).
- Significant experience in sales of technical products
- Strong business/finance background and experience
- Knowledge of commercial transactional process involved with sales
- Previous experience negotiating multi-year contracts with large, global OEMs
- Excellent communication and presentation skill
