Hospital Development Executive (Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota and Iowa)

Labcorp, recognized by Forbes and Fortune, is seeking a Hospital Development Executive to serve as the forward face of our company and engage existing and prospective clients at all levels for our Hospital and Health Systems clients across Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Iowa.

This unique opportunity is part of the hospital sales team for a leading division at a global life sciences company that advances patient health through diagnostic offerings. The role drives high‑value hospital‑based business by prospecting new opportunities in Labcorp’s Mid America Division, maintaining existing client relationships, and collaborating with specialty divisions to grow a profitable portfolio. The position covers Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Iowa and ideally the candidate will be located in Minneapolis, MN.

Areas of Focus
  • Grow new hospital laboratory reference business, including routine and specialty testing.
  • Maintain relationships with existing client base and develop relationships with C‑Suite decision makers.
  • Educate and implement analytical platforms and workflow efficiencies to current and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with other sales team members to expand services beyond the clinical reference testing.
Key Competencies
  • Strong relationship building ability and experience.
  • Ability to prepare and present professional presentations (In‑Person & Virtually).
  • Educate, instruct, and upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and the Labcorp operations team in relation to client needs.
  • Provide ongoing service and timely resolution to customer base.
  • Ensure customer retention by providing superior customer service.
  • Recommend solutions that are client focused.
  • Collaborate with entire sales team to grow book of business.
  • Meet and exceed monthly revenue goals.
Qualifications And Requirements
  • BS/BA degree from a four‑year accredited university or college preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hospital sales or account management required.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Proven success managing a book of business.
  • Superior customer service skills with the ability to build trust‑based relationships.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast paced, competitive market.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products.

Pay Range: $85,000 to $115,000 base salary. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Benefits:
Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including:
Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
