About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, results‑driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel at prospecting new business, building relationships, and consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets while upholding our mission of Respect, Service, and Excellence.

Responsibilities
  • New Business Development:
    Identify and prospect clients within the assigned territory, develop and manage leads through 8–10 daily sales appointments, and ensure timely follow‑up through the Lansing Sales Cycle.
  • Customer Meetings:
    Meet face‑to‑face with contractors, remodelers, and builders to educate them on products and services, demonstrating value and benefits.
  • Relationship Building:
    Establish and maintain long‑term relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and proactively offering solutions.
  • Sales Reporting:
    Utilize Salesforce to track and report on sales activities.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in territory management, B2B outside sales, with a focus on new business development.
  • Experience with CRM software to manage and track sales activity.
  • Familiarity with building materials, construction, or wholesale territory sales.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
Compensation Package
  • Base salary (range) plus uncapped commission, with a strong focus on performance‑based incentives.
  • Company car: personal usage and all expenses paid.
  • Laptop, cell phone, and tablet.
  • Eligibility for annual sales incentive trip.
