Job Overview

Join Cub Rosemount as a dedicated part‑time Meat Associate responsible for cutting, wrapping, preparation, and stocking the meat and seafood department to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

• Maintain meat and seafood cases.
• Perform cutting, wrapping, and preparation of meat and seafood.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, cases, work area, and sales floor.
• Assist customers with product location questions and suggestions.
• Answer department phone calls and respond or refer as appropriate.
• Assist with ordering and receiving meat and seafood shipments.

• Experience operating meat slicer, scale, intercom, telephone, racks, calculator, forklift, meat grinder, cuber, bulker, meat mixer, patty machine, tenderizer, pressure washer, etc.
• Ability to walk long distances and stand for long periods.
• Strong memorization, reading, writing, and math skills.
• Excellent customer service with prompt, courteous, accurate service.
• Good judgment; ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age.

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground.
• Reaching, bending, repetitive motions.
• Exposure to hot equipment and cooking oil.
