As a Produce Lead, you’ll support the Produce Department Manager and help guide the team while ensuring the department stays fresh, full, and inviting. What

You’ll Do
  • Support and lead the produce team in the manager’s absence, helping train, guide, and support produce clerks.
  • Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and to standard.
  • Maintain high standards for freshness by stocking, rotating, and culling fruits and vegetables.
  • Monitor inventory levels to minimize waste and keep a strong assortment available for guests.
  • Ensure the department meets all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Create an inviting department through strong merchandising, full displays, and appealing presentations.
  • Keep aisles, work areas, and backrooms clean, safe, and well organized.
  • Deliver remarkable guest service by greeting guests, sharing product knowledge, and making thoughtful recommendations.
  • Address guest questions or concerns promptly and involve leadership when needed.
