Position: SOUS CHEF (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

SOUS CHEF – Unidine

Unidine is hiring immediately for full‑time and part‑time SOUS CHEF positions. Candidates are invited to apply online only. The role is based at Global Pointe, 5200 West Wayzata Boulevard, Minneapolis, MN 55416.

  • Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour.

    Prior cooking experience required.

Job Summary

Assists the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking foods; coordinates kitchen associates; assumes responsibility for the kitchen when the Executive Chef is absent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards, meeting all deadlines.
  • Supervise hourly food service associates—interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, reviews, and disciplinary recommendations.
  • Store food per corporate, state, and federal safety procedures.
  • Maintain food handling, presentation, portion control, and proper serving temperatures.
  • Sanitize equipment, supplies, and utensils; clean workstation thoroughly before leaving; keep display equipment clean during service.
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly manner and relay information to supervisors.
  • Understand daily menu items and explain them accurately to associates and customers.
  • Keep up with peak production and service hours.
  • Monitor inventory and product deliveries; track consumption and waste; notify supervisor of low supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
