Duties and Responsibilities

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing all food items following standard recipes within specified time limits.
  • Assisting cooks in preparing basic dessert items.
  • Prepping items according to Prep Lists and par levels.
  • Storing and handling raw or prepared foods and supplies properly.
  • Measuring and assembling ingredients, cutting and portioning meat, fish, and poultry.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work surfaces.
  • Maintaining a safe and sanitary workstation.
  • Handling food per health guidelines.
  • Following food handling, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Maintaining personal hygiene and dress code.
  • Reporting safety issues and attending training sessions.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • Serv Safe certification is a plus.
  • Basic measurement skills and following instructions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage specifications.
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely.
Position Details

This is an hourly position with variable hours, including early mornings and late nights, operating 7 days a week.

$21.00 per hour
