About the Job
The position will engage in projects related to generation of stem-cell derived neural populations and their application in animal models. There will be opportunities to lead a team of students, contribute to grant writing, engage in professional development, and disseminate results at conferences.
Expected distribution of duties includes:
- Laboratory benchwork: 75%
- Data analysis, writing, and presentations: 25%
All required qualifications must be included in the application materials.
Required Qualifications:
- A PhD degree in Neuroscience or a related field.
- Possesses a strong laboratory background and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Stem cell biology
- Spinal cord injury cell transplantation
This position is located in the Department of Neurosurgery.
Pay and BenefitsPay Range: $25.00 - $31.25 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
