Quality Engineer I – Design Assurance
Location: Onsite, Maple Grove
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Potential: Temp‑to‑hire depending on performance and budget
Job PurposeThe Quality Engineer I develops, establishes, and maintains quality engineering methodologies, systems, and practices that meet customer and regulatory requirements. This role serves as a Quality representative, enhancing awareness, visibility, and communication of quality initiatives to support departmental, site, divisional, and corporate goals. The position provides focused quality engineering support for new product development and sustaining activities.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with R&D, Process Development, Quality, Production, Regulatory, and Marketing teams to ensure project success.
- Support design verification and validation activities, including:
- Writing protocols and reports
- Test method validation
- Coordinating testing
- Evaluating test results
- Contribute as an effective team member in quality disciplines, risk management documentation, and decision‑making.
- Apply systematic problem‑solving methodologies to identify, prioritize, communicate, and resolve quality issues.
- Support the development and execution of streamlined business systems that effectively identify and resolve quality concerns.
- Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining full compliance with all quality requirements, policies, and procedures.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Scientific discipline
- 0‑1 year of relevant experience
- Knowledge or experience in test validation
- Hands‑on experience through internships or similar roles
