Staff Nurse RN; FTE - OB-Gyn Clinic

Position: Staff Nurse RN (0.8 FTE) - OB-Gyn Clinic
SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our OB-Gyn Clinic.

This part-time position (0.8 FTE) will work days (Mon-Fri) at our downtown Minneapolis clinic facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Relationship-Based Care practice model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:

* Protecting, promoting wellness and optimizing health

* Triaging patients by assessing severity of symptoms and referral to appropriate setting or level of care

* Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response

* Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others

* Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care

* Educating patient on their disease process

* Assuring continuity of care

* Educating patient and family in preventative care which promotes health and well being

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

* Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

* Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota

Preferred Qualifications:

* Certification in area of clinical specialty

* Previous OB/Gyn or L&D experience

* BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
