Maintain a clean, sanitary environment for staff, students and public. Perform related tasks as apparent or assigned. Ensure readiness of the school building for student learning.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willing and able to complete required Health and Safety training curriculum within a specified time frame
• Verbal communication skills to interact with building users and fellow employees; ability to answer questions and make decisions on facility use
• Written communication skills to document correspondence with day employees about problems or repairs
• Basic math skills: determine dilution ratios, converting ounces to gallons, etc.
• Ability to estimate time required for tasks and determine if requests can be handled by evening staff or deferred
• Regular and prompt attendance

Pay: $19.50 - $27.15 per hour (based on experience and union approval), shift differential of $0.65 per hour for second shift.

Duty days: 260 per year (12 months).

Shifts:

Second shift during school year (2:30‑11:00 PM); first shift during summer and school breaks.
