Overview

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Nonprofit Donor & Volunteer Coordinator for a mission-driven nonprofit organization supporting donor stewardship and volunteer engagement initiatives. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Golden Valley, Minnesota
.

This role supports and strengthens donor and sponsorship programs while coordinating volunteer engagement initiatives that are central to the organization’s mission. The Donor & Volunteer Coordinator plays a key role in relationship management, program administration, and cross-functional collaboration. This position balances detailed administrative work with meaningful donor and volunteer interaction.

• Competitive annual salary range of $52,000–$65,000, based on experience

• Manage donor and sponsor communications, including correspondence, updates, and stewardship touchpoints
• Coordinate volunteer engagement activities and support logistics for service or mission-based programs
• Maintain accurate donor and volunteer records within CRM or database systems
• Support program documentation, reporting, and administrative workflows
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including international program contacts
• Contribute to donor and volunteer retention, engagement, and recruitment initiatives

• Experience supporting donor relations, sponsorship programs, volunteer coordination, or nonprofit program operations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a relationship-driven approach
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Comfort working with CRM systems, databases, and standard office software
• Mission-aligned, service-oriented, and culturally sensitive mindset

This full-time, direct hire position offers a salary range of $52,000–$65,000 annually
