About the role

Domestic Abuse Project (DAP) is seeking an optimistic, self-driven creative to own donor-facing communications (this includes social channels with metrics to be proud of), maintain/grow donor engagement, and support the planning and execution of our fundraising campaigns and events. This job is left brain meets right brain – but 100% heart.

What you’ll do
  • Ideate, produce, post and manage monthly organic social on Meta, Tik Tok, and Linked In.
  • Create e-newsletters, DAP’s annual impact report, signage and internal/digital comms using template tools like Canva, Mailchimp, and Squarespace.
  • Update donor data and run reports in programs such as Bloomerang and Give Butter.
  • Cultivate donor relationships, inspire them to help in activations, and send thank you’s.
  • Assist with logistics, sponsor/vendor coordination, and marketing for DAP events, from tabling opportunities at sports venues and concerts to our annual fundraiser gala.
  • Collaborate with and learn from our team of Therapists, Advocates, and Case Managers so all DAP messaging is trauma-informed and victim-centered.
Why it matters

You’ll be working to create transformational impact in our community. Every day, families in the Twin Cities and beyond turn to DAP for support. For over 45 years, we’ve filled a critical gap in existing abuse services by providing life-changing therapy and wrap-around care to help adults and children impacted by domestic abuse heal, end the cycle of violence, and make Minnesota safer for all.
