Job Description

We are seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our dynamic production team. This role involves running a wide variety of secondary‑operations equipment in a fast‑paced environment, focusing on machining support, finishing, inspection, and workflow management. You will be handling aluminum and magnesium components for industries such as medical, automotive, and power sports. Mechanical awareness and manufacturing experience are essential for this role, along with the ability to maintain production independently.

Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of secondary‑operations machinery.
  • Perform machining support, finishing, inspection, and manage workflow.
  • Handle aluminum and magnesium components of varying sizes.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using measurement tools.
  • Maintain safety standards and follow written work instructions.
  • Ensure high reliability and attendance during 10‑hour shifts.
Essential Skills
  • 2+ years of machine‑operation or hands‑on manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to operate multiple types of production machinery.
  • Proficiency with basic measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Capability to perform visual and dimensional inspection.
  • Experience with repetitive, physical production work.
  • High level of reliability and attendance.
  • Strong safety awareness and understanding of industrial safety practices.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with drilling, tapping, broaching, sanding, grinding, or polishing operations.
  • Previous experience in secondary manufacturing operations.
  • Machine shop or general manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to read simple blueprints (dimensions, tolerances, orientation).
  • Experience supporting quota‑driven production environments.
  • Prior experience working with aluminum or magnesium components.

Work Environment

Work in a 24/7 aluminum and magnesium production facility. The job involves standing, lifting, and repetitive movement throughout the shift. Safety glasses and ear protection are required at all times. The environment is fast‑paced with clear production expectations, and while it can be physically demanding with exposure to heat, noise, and industrial materials, it is known as one of the cleanest die‑cast facilities in the Twin Cities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
