Shop Hand

The Shop Hand will support welders, machinists, and fabricators by preparing RAW materials, operating basic machinery (grinders, drills, saws, and sanders), moving heavy materials, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. This entry-level role involves loading/unloading equipment, using hand tools, assisting with assembly.

• Clean machines, sweep floors, remove metal shavings, and maintain an organized work area.
• Load/unload raw materials and finished products onto machines, and move parts using hoists or forklifts.
• Assist operators with machine setups, tool changes, and basic tasks like deburring, sawing, tapping, and palletizing.
• Organize, clean and distribute tools, fixtures and shop equipment.
• Assemble finish goods as needed.

• 1+ years machine shop experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good driving record
• Focused on details and accuracy
• Strong orientation toward company policies, quality and safety
• Basic welding and machining skills are preferred
