Job Description

The Crane Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient transfer of materials in the warehouse. Candidates must possess knowledge of the capabilities, limitations and mechanical state of cranes, lifting devices and attachments. The person in this position is required to inspect the work area and machines daily for safe working conditions. Must be safety- and quality-conscious. Other duties include operating banding equipment, packaging material, and tow-m motor operation.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience in the related field.
• Previous forklift experience is required.
• Mechanical inclination, production orientation, and safety and quality consciousness.
• Basic math skills; general knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices; working knowledge of general computer programs is preferred.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work on 1st shift, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Pay Range: $25.43 per hour
