Packaging Tech -2nd shift

About the Role
A  has partnered up with a plastics company in Plymouth, MN seeking a detail-oriented 2nd shift Packaging Technician to join our Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, packaging, and labeling thermoformed parts to meet quality and safety standards. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for candidates with prior food or medical manufacturing experience.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 3PM to 11PM Wage: $18.50 per hour Responsibilities

• Inspect and package products according to quality specifications.
• Apply and verify case labels, maintaining numerical accuracy.
• Operate case tapers, finishing, and support equipment.
• Remove and process recycling materials as needed.
• Print work orders and labels, process skid/hold tags.
• Accurately perform Oracle transactions.
• Identify and report quality deviations or nonconforming products.
• Read product drawings and perform product measurements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, following GMP and 5S programs.
• Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food or medical manufacturing required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level to meet training, safety, and quality standards.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing floor setting; may include hot working conditions.
• Frequent twisting, bending, reaching, and standing.
