CNC Lathe - Tool Maker

Description

Responsible for the Setting up and Running of our CNC Lathe, Manual Engine Lathe and Hardinge Hand Screw machines.

• Proficient in the operation of CNC Lathe (Both Setup & Running)
• Manual program and edit, G-Code programs
• Operate Manual Engine Lathe
• Operate Hardinge Hand Screw Machine
• Operate manual machining centers (Bridgeport, Drill Press, etc.)
• Operate machine shop hand equipment (Drills, Surface and Hand Grinders, Cut Off Saw, etc.)
• Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
• Operate CNC Lathe
• Use various measuring equipment (Micrometers, Calipers, Comparator, etc.)
• Proficient in reading, understanding and machining from CAD drawings
• Assemble molds
• Work while standing for extended periods of time
• Lift and carry 5-25 pounds on a regular basis
• Regular and consistent attendance

• Keep machine area neat and orderly
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Two (2) years Technical College or Equivalent Experience
• CNC Lathe Operation Experience
• Manual Lathe Operation Experience
• Good time management

• Computer literate in Master Cam, Excel and Word

• Ability to work independently
• Self-Motivator
• Team Player
