Overview
Assists with the coating and/or laminating of material that meets coating run order requirements. Performs daily assignments and tasks in Coating department.
Responsibilities- Helps Level 2 and 3 Coating Operators set up and prepare material for processing.
- Places roll of material onto feed spindle of machine.
- Threads end through feed and guides material into coating head or through drying oven and attaches it to rewind spindle.
- Fills coating head with coating solution.
- Monitors and adjusts coating line.
- Reports any non-conformities as material is processed.
- Performs basic machine maintenance and PMs.
- Cleans work areas.

Education And/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory control software.
