Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Shop Helper, where you will utilize your skills in MIG/TIG welding on elevator casings. Operate spot welders and troubleshoot while using the punch press and press brake. Take part in grinding and metal finishing, assisting in building crates and fabricating products as needed. We offer training opportunities to enhance your welding and other technical skills.

• Perform MIG/TIG welding on elevator casings.
• Operate spot welders efficiently.
• Utilize punch press and press brake, including troubleshooting.
• Handle grinding and metal finishing tasks.
• Assist in building crates and fabricating products as needed.
• Participate in training to develop welding and other skills.

• Experience with grind, shear, punch press, weld, grinding, and spot welding.
• Knowledge of press brake, punch press, and spot welding.
• Experience with sheet metal, welding, fabrication, and press brake.

Work in a large, clean, and organized fabrication shop that includes a brake press, turret/laser, welding stations, assembly, and painting. Our client fabricates custom elevator cabs for clients nationwide. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM.

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
