An aerospace client is looking for an Assembler who performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

Location: Plymouth, MN 55442 (Onsite)
Position: Assembler
Pay Rate: $21.10/hr.

- $25.26/hr. on W2 (DOE)
Duration: 12 months or longer
Schedule: 9×80 A
Shift: 6am-3pm shift

Responsibilities:
  • Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
  • Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
  • Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
  • May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
  • May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
  • Follow process detail to create electromechanical assemblies.
  • Work with engineers to improve processes and resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain a clean workspace, monitor expiration dates on materials and equipment.
Basic Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience with a High School degree.
  • Able to read engineering documentation and reports.
  • Experience using computers to log measurement data.
Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience dispensing epoxy with Nordson EFD equipment

• Soldering skills (IPC J-STD-001 certification preferred)

• Prior manufacturing experience in medical device or aerospace industry
