PCB Assembler​/AOI Inspector

Position: PCB Assembler / AOI Inspector
Location: New Hope, MN

Wage: $19 - $23/hr., depending on experience

Hours: 1st shift | 6:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 11:00 am Friday

Join a growing electronics manufacturing team as a PCB assembler / AOI inspector! In this hands-on role, you'll operate AOI equipment, inspect PCB assemblies, and support quality control in a clean and fast-paced environment.

Duties of the PCB assembler / AOI inspector:

• Operate AOI machines to inspect PCBs
• Review inspection results and identify defects per IPC standards
• Perform visual inspections and document quality findings
• Assist with AOI setup, calibration, and first article inspections
• Assemble PCBs using both surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole soldering techniques
• Support quality assurance processes and root cause analysis

Requirements of the PCB assembler / AOI inspector:

• 1 - 2 years of PCB manufacturing or AOI inspection experience
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610/IPC-600 standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read assembly documentation
• Experience with AOI software and basic computer skills
• Knowledge of ESD-safe handling preferred
