Tube Laser Operator; 2nd Shift - M

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and operate BLM LT7 Tube Laser with a focus on precision, safety, and efficiency
• Utilize nesting and bending software to produce high-quality parts
• Analyze blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished product
• Ability to identify various raw materials
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards
• Other duties as assigned such as operating saw or CNC machine

• At least 2+ years of experience in a metal fabrication shop
• Strong team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to meeting production goals
• Proficient in using measurement tools such as tape measures and calipers
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and adapt to changing production needs
• Excellent attention to detail and focus on maintaining product quality
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to become forklift certified within the first month of hire
• Ability to train on first shift (M-F, 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.), then transition to second shift (M-Th 1:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. with overtime on Fridays as required)

• Prior experience operating laser equipment
• Strong math skills, such as reading measurements, doing basic calculations, etc.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
