Production Supervisor- 2nd Shift

Responsible for overall oversight of daily production activities for an assigned department or a rotating set of departments. Working under direction from the plant and/or production manager, the supervisor seeks to optimize workflow and efficiency, meet production goals and profitability objectives. The role directly supervises production workers to ensure standards are followed, goals are achieved, employee relations are positive and policies, rules and regulations are adhered to.

Work follows company safety guidelines and is completed in a productive and efficient manner.

Monday - Friday, 2nd shift (approx 3pm - 11:30pm)

• Oversee assigned area of production responsibility as scheduled in a safe and efficient manner
• Monitor work activities in assigned area and ensure compliance with company safety policies and work rules
• Train new and existing employees on safe and efficient production practices and company policies
• Attend departmental and market center meetings to engage and complete education and training
• Develop and maintain positive employee relations by consistently applying company policies, recognizing and valuing employee contributions
• Identify and recommend production improvement strategies that enhance equipment and worker performance, efficiency and product quality to the plant and/or production manager
• Create and support a culture of adherence to market center standardization in support of safety, financial and service goals
• Other duties as assigned by plant and/or General Manager

This position will oversee a small group or functional areas and 2 or more production employees. The supervisor will lead day‑to‑day operations of the group under direction of a plant and/or production manager.

The supervisor will work with various individuals and teams in a market center and collaboratively support, develop, and execute production efforts.

This role works in an industrial laundry environment with loud noises, heat, and hazardous equipment in use at all times.

• Capability to work safely and conscientiously in a fast‑paced, loud work environment with machinery
• Proved record of work attendance
• Capability to read and understand work instructions in English
• Basic math reasoning skills
• Lifting ability up to 50 pounds; push/pull ability up to 300 pounds assisted

• Two years industrial laundry experience
• Spoken familiarity with the prevalent language of the production team

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000, based on skills, qualifications, certifications, prior experience, market data, and other factors.
