Second shift: 2-10:30pm (M-Thurs) and 10-6:30pm (Fri)

Insight Global is seeking an eager, self-starter to join the team of a large manufacturing client. In this role, you will serve as a contract Engineering Technician in one of their industrial labs located in Bloomington, MN.

This is physically, a hands‑on role that requires strong attention to detail and desire to perform tasks using hand tools and a variety of elements including water and oil. A basic understanding of computer skills and Microsoft Office tools such as Excel are required.

A strong candidate would be eager to learn and a personal desire to work with hand tools and large machinery. This is the perfect opportunity to gain entry‑level, hands‑on experience within a large liquid Lab.

• Associate degree or 1+ year(s) of related experience
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• Demonstrated mechanical/technical aptitude
• Good organization skills and ability to multi‑task
• Motivated and self-driven
• Strong attention to detail

• Previous experience as an engineering technician or related field experience preferred
• Working knowledge of test equipment and test standards
• Proficient computer literacy skills (MS Office, MS Excel in particular)
• Welding or fabrication experience
