Are you wired for precision? If the hum of a narrow-web press and perfect registration lines make your day, this role in Brooklyn Park, MN is for you. You will lead the setup and operation of flexographic presses to produce high-quality printed products on equipment such as Mark Andy, Symjet, and MPS.
Your mission
Transform detailed job specs into flawless output. From mounting plates and matching inks to dialing in web tension and color, you will control the variables that ensure every run meets exacting standards.
Responsibilities- Prepare, set up, and operate flexographic presses to deliver consistent, high-quality work.
- Track performance in real time, adjusting for speed, color, registration, and substrate conditions.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to reduce downtime.
- Coordinate with production to achieve deadlines and daily throughput goals.
- Document production metrics with accuracy and escalate concerns swiftly.
- Follow all safety procedures and comply with quality requirements.
- 2nd Shift: 2pm – 12 a.m., 4 days per week.
- 4-crew rotation: 12-hour shifts, switching every 13 weeks from front of week to back of week; 6pm – 6am.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bonus points for technical printing training.
- Experience as a Narrow Web Flexo Press Operator or equivalent role.
- Strong grasp of narrow web flexographic processes and related equipment.
- Mechanical skills to diagnose issues and execute routine maintenance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering focus on quality.
- Team-oriented communicator who collaborates effectively.
