Job DescriptionViking Materials, Inc., a steel distribution center owned by Reliance Steel, is seeking motivated individuals to join our warehouse operations team. This is an excellent opportunity to grow within a leading national company.
Location & PayLocation:
3225 Como Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414 (500 SPC)
Pay Rate:
- 1st Shift: $26.07/hr
- 2nd Shift: $26.07/hr
- 3rd Shift (Friday–Sunday, 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM): $27.06/hr
- 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Training conducted on this shift)
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM – 12:55 AM
- 3rd Shift: Friday–Sunday, 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM (Weekend shift with premium pay)
- Operate overhead cranes and sit‑down forklifts
- Cut and process metal coils using saws and cutting equipment
- Read and follow work orders
- Perform shipping, receiving, packaging, and bundling tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area
- Meet daily production and quality goals
- 1–2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience
- Forklift operation experience (required)
- Overhead crane experience (preferred)
- Ability to read tape measures and perform accurate measurements
- Comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment
- Skid building
- RF scanner usage
- Material handling and picking
- Steel manufacturing knowledge

The pay range for this position is $26.07 - $27.07/hr.
