Assembler

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift

Pay: Competitive hourly rate with weekly pay

We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Assembler . In this role, you’ll assemble electrical and mechanical parts into finished products using various tools and assembly process equipment. You’ll also have the opportunity to cross-train in multiple areas, including mechanical, electronic, testing, microscope work, soldering, and finishing.

• Assemble electrical and mechanical parts into finished products using tools and assembly process equipment.
• Cross-train in mechanical, electronic, testing, microscope, soldering, and finishing areas.
• Use screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and hand soldering tools (depending on department).
• Apply adhesives and chemicals during assembly.
• Utilize computer workstations for record-keeping and testing.
• Perform electronic testing on final assemblies using various test equipment.
• Conduct quality control inspections.
• Lift up to 40 lbs consistently.

• Proficiency in using hand tools, including microscopes, small screwdrivers, and torque wrenches.
• Experience with soldering and following work instructions and blueprints.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Experience with PCB or small part assembly.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• JSTD certification highly preferred.

• Large production area with different lines supporting gas and flame detection sensors.
• Smocks and safety glasses provided (safety toe shoes not provided).
• Some areas may have a strong epoxy smell.
• Employees will be cross-trained and placed in departments that suit their skills and interests.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $24.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Minneapolis, MN.
