Millwright - Industrial Machinery Technician

Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble used machinery
- Assemble new machinery gantries and portable presses
- Fabricate and machine parts as needed
- Wire up motors, control panels, safety systems
- Prep and paint finished products
- Prepare items for shipping
- Load/unload trucks if designated
- Produce timely and detailed labor reports
- Effectively manage time and resources to meet deadlines and ensure quality
- Keep tools and equipment organized and properly maintained
- Assist other production teams as needed
- Consistently arrive on time and maintain reliable attendance
- Work both independently and collaboratively
- Practice personal and environmental safety on the job using protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, etc.
- Mechanical experience working with mechanical drive components, bearings, sprockets, chains, loading, unloading, and moving heavy industrial equipment
- Proper use of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment: welder, plasma cutter, Oxy/Acetylene torch, bandsaw, ironworker, drill press, mill, lathe
- Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Expert mechanical background
- Physical ability to lift at least 50-70 pounds and perform repetitive motions, standing, kneeling, bending over for long periods
- Work both independently and collaboratively
- Drive a forklift and use lifting devices
- Interact professionally and work well with the team and customers
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED and valid identification
