We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for a first shift position at a metal processing company. The role involves assisting with preventative maintenance, proactively fixing equipment, and performing mechanical maintenance tasks and troubleshooting. This position is crucial for ensuring minimal downtime of equipment and addressing mechanical breakdowns promptly.

• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
• Proactively fix equipment and perform mechanical maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize equipment downtime.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on 2 slitters and 5 leveling lines.

• Industrial maintenance experience
• Mechanical service skills
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
• Troubleshooting expertise in hydraulics and pneumatics
• 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance

• Technical degree (preferred)
• Experience in a metal processing environment

Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

The pay range for this position is $30.28 - $30.28/hr.
