The Pace Analytical Facilities Qualification group is hiring a field service technician to perform equipment qualification services and cleanroom certification testing. This position offers the opportunity to execute custom facility and equipment qualification protocols related to controlled environments (clean rooms) for industries including medical device, life science, electronics, scientific, defense, and other high-tech sectors.
The qualified applicant will work across the Twin Cities and nationally, providing testing solutions in production clean rooms and related lab areas. Self-directed individuals with the ability to function in complex industrial and lab environments will thrive in this position. Currently most work is in the Twin Cities regional area, with nationally 25%+ travel required. Pace FQS provides an extensive training program with escalating pay as well as bonus incentives.

- Perform on-site testing and completion of custom Installation, Operation and Performance Qualification protocols.
- Provide on-site testing of production clean rooms including HEPA integrity testing and ISO 14644 particle count certifications.
- Provide on-site certification of equipment including laminar flow workstations, fume hoods and biological safety cabinets.
- Prepare GMP compliant test reports.
- Record service events in enterprise data management software.
- High School diploma required
- Ability to understand technical drawings and manuals
- Strong technical aptitude as demonstrated through work or educational experience
- Ability to extract technical requirements from various sources
- Comfortable performing mathematical calculations and unit conversions
- Attention to detail and high quality documentation skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Physical ability to work in active construction zones as buildings are completed and started up
- Valid driver s license required
- Up to 25% travel nationally
- Ability to work in a self-directed environment
