Growing manufacturer in Butte, MT, is seeking a Director of Manufacturing
. This is a direct hire position with a full benefits package and relocation assistance
.
The role involves maintaining production schedules aligned with management and client requirements. Responsibilities include managing manpower allocation, working within budget constraints, and ensuring order and cohesion as workloads change and new projects are introduced. Strong multi-program/project management skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, team-building, planning, supervisory, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
Requirements include:
Proven success in high-technology product manufacturing.Experience as a technical manager in a small industrial equipment manufacturing environment.Successful implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.Ability to understand customer needs and develop solutions.Knowledge of emerging technologies and the ability to integrate them into manufacturing processes.Quick grasp of new technological concepts and operational implementation skills.Responsibilities:
Lead manufacturing strategy, planning, and operations, including overseeing Production Managers, Quality, Engineering, EH&S, Logistics, and Supply Chain.Develop safety, compliance, quality, and cost control programs.Adopt efficient process designs and technologies.Forecast and plan resources to support business goals.Foster organizational culture to meet company objectives.Design and maintain an effective organizational structure.Lead change management and promote employee development.Implement cross-training and skills development programs.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (ABET accredited).8+ years of manufacturing and warehouse management experience.Proficiency in MRP, ERP, inventory management, MS Office, PowerPoint.U.S. citizen.This job posting is active and accepting applications.
