Business Management, Operations Manager, Business Analyst
Under general direction, you will lead a team within an assigned business function of the Policy, Disbursements and Claims business unit. You will execute key business priorities, achieve business performance targets, and deliver a superior experience to both policyholders and producers. You will report to the Director Business Operations.
Responsibilities- Execute department plans to ensure successful coordination of team activities (on and offshore). Achieve performance targets while building controls and managing risks.
- Promote a customer-centric environment within the team and build successful customer relationships. Demonstrate responsiveness by gathering input and feedback from customers. Implement process improvements to deliver and maintain a high-quality end-to-end customer service experience and achieve overall customer satisfaction targets.
- Maintain a solid controls framework through oversight, monitoring, assessing risk and validating results. Support business system owners through an understanding of process, system, and control capabilities. Identify, report, and escalate risks and implement mitigation strategies. Partner with the Business Controls Office.
- Coordinate and ensure timely responses to internal and external audits, market conduct exams.
- Coordinate change projects within assigned group to support the evolving service strategy. Ensure change readiness of the team to achieve business goals into the future.
- Coach team members to support the service delivery strategy. Partner with employees to create development plans and conduct regular career coaching conversations. Solicit employee feedback and build employee engagement action plans. Use workforce planning models to assess staff needs and deliver results.
- Establish successful working relationships with peers, Operations leaders, partners, and vendors to deliver a high-quality end-to-end customer experience aligned with the service strategy and company-wide priorities.
- Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).
- 2 or more years of experience required in financial, insurance or operations; proven successful strategic leadership, business acumen, relationship and customer service skills.
- Two year degree required or equivalent work experience.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.
Manager Business Operations job posting range: $69,000 - $103,500
Senior Manager Business Operations job posting range: $82,000 - $124,000
Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees.
Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
