Position Overview: The Maintenance Superintendent will oversee approximately 16 team members, including 3 supervisors. This individual will lead maintenance operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable performance of plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of maintenance personnel and supervisors
- Provide leadership in electrical and mechanical maintenance, particularly with coolers and conveyor systems
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Proven leadership and management experience in maintenance roles
- Strong electrical and general mechanical knowledge
- Experience with coolers, conveyor systems, and related equipment
- Food processing industry experience preferred, but not required
- Stable company with over 20 years of growth in the industry
- Strong culture of employee development and internal promotion
