Reports To:
Operations Manager
- Create schedules and supervise the labor force for the facility.
- Work with management to establish productivity goals and manage labor hours to achieve the goals.
- Cross‑train employees to further develop talent and coach employees to achieve career goals.
- Understand P & L statements and make adjustments when necessary to maximize profitability for the facility.
- Enforce company safety rules and conduct monthly safety meetings.
- Develop relationships with employees to understand their needs and increase employee morale and engagement.
- Coordinate transportation and disposal with company and brokers to remove materials from the site in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work closely with maintenance department to ensure all equipment remains in working order and scheduled services do not interfere with operations.
- Communicate any safety or operational issues to the management team immediately.
- Ability to supervise a large staff.
- Strong problem solver who can make decisions in the best interest of the company.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to stand and walk.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Work indoors and outdoors, subject to weather extremes, dust and noise.
- Sporadic local travel required.
