We are seeking a Senior Commercial Project Manager to lead large‑scale commercial rooftop solar projects from post‑contract through construction, activation, and close‑out. This role oversees multiple high‑value projects simultaneously and plays a key leadership role mentoring project managers and coordinators while partnering closely with construction, electrical, procurement, and executive teams.

This is a hands‑on, leadership‑oriented role suited for someone who understands commercial rooftop solar systems, thrives in a fast‑moving construction environment, and can manage complex schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

• Lead and manage commercial rooftop solar construction projects ranging from 500 kW to 25 MW.
• Own project schedules using critical‑path methodology, ensuring milestones are met from design through close‑out.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects with a portfolio‑management mindset.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors including scope development, qualification, contract negotiation, performance, and compliance.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, risks, and change orders.
• Coordinate closely with procurement, warehouse, engineering, and construction teams to ensure material availability and efficient mobilization.
• Provide clear visibility into project status, risks, and timelines to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with permitting, safety standards, electrical codes, and quality expectations.
• Mentor and support Project Managers and Project Coordinators, helping build team depth and capability.
• Participate in hiring and development of project support staff.
• Conduct periodic site visits to support field teams and maintain operational alignment.
• Serve as a leadership backup when needed and collaborate closely with sales and operations leaders.

• 5+ years of commercial solar project management experience (rooftop solar required).
• Hands‑on knowledge of commercial rooftop PV systems.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, schedules, and budgets.
• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, battery storage, and permitting.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes and building standards.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring teams.
• OSHA 10 certification (required).
• OSHA 30 certification (required within 30 days if not current).
• Ability to travel occasionally, including limited overnights.

• Construction or electrical background.
• Experience with Salesforce, Net Suite, Google Suite, or similar project/ERP tools.
