Equipment Solutions Manager – Temporary Power Solutions
Mortenson is hiring an Equipment Solutions Manager-Temporary Power Solutions to support our growing Temporary Power Solutions program. This role partners with other Equipment Solutions Managers to provide leadership and project assistance with onsite Temporary Power and Climate Control requirements.
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Responsibilities- Managing and organizing owned equipment, storage, and tooling
- Equipment planning and scheduling with internal project teams, equipment solutions teams, and 3rdparty vendors
- Large inventory management
- Financial forecasting and budgeting
- Assist project teams design and temporary systems
- Size temporary systems based on load requirements and calculations
- Rental software contract management
- Equipment logistics planning
- Vendor relations
- Understanding of construction equipment maintenance, opportunities, constraints and requirements
- Establish improved efficiencies and process improvement plans for warehouse and equipment yard using 5S strategies
- Lead department initiatives to include development, training and support
- Manage a team of craft and non-craft team members
- Support innovation by encouraging new process development
- Interior and exterior responsibilities required
- Travel expectation 50%
- Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in construction, equipment rental, and/or project management or 10+ years equivalent professional trade experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical equipment and materials
- Familiarity with basic maintenance/service schedules
- Effective communication both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize based on workload
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong computer skills
- Valid US Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Ability to travel 50%
- 1+ year of direct team leadership and management experience (preferred)
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment (preferred)
- Experience with budget planning and financial oversight (preferred)

Base pay range: $106,600 - $159,900.
