Roving Maintenance Engineer

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Roving Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Minneapolis
. This role will involve traveling to and servicing various commercial properties around the Twin Cities.

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building equipment and systems.
• Perform or oversee general building systems operations, including boiler, mechanical electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and elevators.
• Coordinate and oversee vendor work.
• Perform general repairs/adjustments to building systems, lighting, and plumbing.

• Must have general maintenance experience in the operation of commercial buildings and equipment.
• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Participate in on-call, after-hours and weekend rotation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a helpful attitude when interacting with building occupants.
• Valid driver's license, clear driving record, basic knowledge of computer applications and ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Ability to work from a ladder, work overhead, smell smoke and other chemicals and be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions.

• Have a boiler operator license.
• Have knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to make needed adjustments and general repairs.
• Microsoft 365 Software experience.

Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.

The base pay is $28.00 - $38.00 per hour. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
