The Church & School of St. Peter, located in Forest Lake, Minnesota, serves over 1,800 families in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area. This position does not require that an employee be an active participating Catholic, however it is expected that the employee will have an understanding of the rich tradition and doctrine of the Church and will uphold and enforce the teachings of the Church.
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Custodian at the Church & School of St. Peter, located in Forest Lake. The Custodian will perform a variety of tasks to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of the church and school facilities. Daily responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing common areas, classrooms, and restrooms; performing basic maintenance tasks; setting up for events;
and addressing any other cleaning or operational needs as required. The role requires physical activity and adherence to safety protocols to maintain a welcoming and functioning environment for parishioners, students, and staff.
- Experience in cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining facilities
- Basic maintenance and repair skills
- Knowledge of proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning schedules
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Successfully complete pre-employment physical as required by employer
- A bility to lift and carry 50 lbs. and move heavy objects as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
