Job Description

This role requires traveling up to 50% across the region, including potential plane travel out-of-state. Weekend work and potential overtime may be required about 5% of the time. The ideal candidate is a mechanically minded problem-solver who enjoys diagnosing issues and working with their hands. Strong communication skills are essential for confidently interacting with customers, explaining findings, and building trust. Reliability, ownership, and accountability are key attributes for this position, as well as the ability to work autonomously, manage schedules, and embrace change.

The role involves using technology such as service software, tablets, and measurement instruments, and requires a valid driver's license for visiting multiple customer sites.

Responsibilities

+ Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

+ Communicate effectively with customers and build trust through clear explanations and technical expertise.

+ Travel extensively to customer sites, including out-of-state, and manage a flexible schedule.

+ Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on electromechanical equipment.

+ Adhere to safety and regulatory compliance while ensuring precision in all tasks.

+ Utilize service software and technological tools to report and manage tasks efficiently.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical aptitude and electromechanical equipment knowledge.

+ 2+ years of experience in electromechanics, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

+ Strong mathematical skills and technical communication abilities.

+ Ability to work independently and adapt to new technologies.

+ Valid driver's license.

+ Basic math skills.

+ Electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.

+ Presentation skills for maintaining a professional appearance.

+ Effective communication with various professionals, including pharmacists and biomedical engineers.

+ Certification in NSF and CETA is preferred, with training provided if not already certified.

+ Technical college or 4-year program education is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

The position involves traveling to customer sites such as clean rooms, medical device, and pharmaceutical facilities. You will work on equipment including Fume Hoods, Biosafety Cabinets, Medical HVAC Systems, Laminar Flows, and Autoclaves. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $93600.00/yr.
