Overview
Trustpoint is proud to partner with a general practice law firm in their search for a full-time Paralegal to join the team onsite in Minneapolis. This role will provide support to two attorneys whose work spans business transactions, real estate, civil litigation, and criminal defense. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for a paralegal who enjoys a varied workload and direct client interaction.
Responsibilities- Draft and prepare business transaction documents, including entity formation materials, buy-sell agreements, and business sale agreements.
- Prepare and file real estate documents, including deeds and related filings.
- Assist with civil litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, managing files, coordinating service, and electronic filing in state and federal courts.
- Support criminal defense matters, including managing discovery, preparing pretrial materials, coordinating client communication, and assisting with trial preparation.
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, and external parties in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files and manage document workflows using document management systems.
- Provide general administrative and case support as needed.
- 3+ years of relevant paralegal experience, preferably in a general practice environment.
- Strong drafting, document preparation, and file management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working within document management systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting demands.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative team approach.
- Must be able to work onsite in Minneapolis.
Compensation is dependent upon experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package. Range is expected to be 60k-85k.
