FMJ has an opportunity in our Eden Prairie office for a full-time litigation associate attorney with 2 to 4 years of experience in commercial and business litigation matters. The firm is seeking a candidate with strong writing abilities, knowledge of court and procedural rules, experience with written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court hearings, an understanding of the litigation system, and the ability to work as part of a team.
MUST BE LICENSED to practice law in Minnesota.
- Support and expand the firm’s busy and growing commercial litigation practice.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in commercial and business litigation matters.
- Strong writing abilities.
- Knowledge of court and procedural rules.
- Experience with written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court hearings.
- Understanding of the litigation system.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Licensed to practice law in Minnesota.
Salary range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000 and is commensurate with experience. Benefits are available and employees can select Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Supplemental Life and AD&D, Flexible Spending and HSA Options, and Retirement Benefits (with employer contribution).
