Description

Highly respected employment law firm in downtown Minneapolis is hiring a Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This person will work closely with other LAAs and Paralegals to support attorneys on sophisticated matters while gaining hands-on exposure to all phases of litigation.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 1-3+ years of litigation support experience who wants to deepen their skills, take ownership of meaningful work, and be part of a collaborative, high-performing team.

Overview of Responsibilities:

+ Support attorneys in all phases of litigation

+ Prepare, proofread, and file pleadings and correspondence

+ Manage deadlines, calendars, and case files with precision

+ Assist with discovery, including document collection, organization, and review

+ Coordinate filings, service, and case logistics

+ Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 1-3+ years of litigation support experience as a paralegal or litigation legal administrative assistant

+ Paralegal certificate preferred but not required

+ Working knowledge of Minnesota and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure

+

Experience with /exposure to e-filing in State and/or Federal Courts

+ Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and PDF programs

+ Excellent correspondence, writing, proofreading, and formatting skills, sometimes on time-sensitive and high-profile documents

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

+ Confident communicator with a team-oriented mindset and comfort handling client contact
