OnRamp Lawyer Fellow; One- Attorney Fellowship Position

Are you a U.S.

-licensed lawyer with three or more years of full-time legal experience who has taken a break from the practice of law for at least two consecutive years—and you’re eager to return, but not sure how? If so, we encourage you to apply for a one-year paid fellowship with one of the leading legal organizations participating in the OnRamp Fellowship.

The OnRamp Fellowship offers openings across multiple practice groups and U.S. cities. We provide an exciting mix of Fellowship roles, ranging from litigation, employment, healthcare, and government defense to global finance and in-house regulatory counsel positions. Available roles are based on OnRamp’s employer-partners’ hiring needs.

About the Fellowship:

The OnRamp Fellowship connects legal departments and law firms with high-performing lawyers who have taken a career break. This unique program gives returning lawyers an opportunity to demonstrate their value in the marketplace while also broadening their experience, skills, and professional networks. Through coaching and cohorts, the Fellowship provides a strong support infrastructure and an opportunity to connect with other returning lawyers.

As part of this structured returnship, each Fellow works with a professional career coach, participates in monthly cohort meetings, and has access to periodic training with other Fellows, along with a wealth of world-class on-demand training options.

Because a core goal of the Fellowship is to increase the number of returning lawyers in leadership roles, applicants should have a strong interest in advancing within a law firm or legal department.

Eligibility Requirements:

Lawyers are eligible to apply if they:

• Are eligible to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship;
• Have at least three years of full-time, post-licensure legal experience at one or more mid- to large-size legal organizations;
• Have taken a break from the practice of law for at least two consecutive years; and
• Hold an active license to practice law in the United States.

To be considered for an OnRamp Fellowship, applicants must meet the eligibility requirements and submit an application through the OnRamp Fellowship Program website. Applications submitted through an employer-partner’s website will not be considered for fellowship positions as part of the OnRamp Fellowship Program.
