Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000 (commensurate with experience)
A well-established legal team is seeking a General Practice Paralegal to join their firm due to an upcoming retirement in February 2026
. This role presents a rare opportunity to transition into a key position supporting two general practice attorneys who handle a diverse range of legal matters. Because the work spans multiple areas of law, this position offers both variety and challenge — ideal for a paralegal who enjoys a fast-paced environment and broad exposure to different legal disciplines.
- Provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to two general practice attorneys.
- Draft, proofread, and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
- Manage case files and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Conduct research and assist in gathering materials for attorney review.
- Prepare and organize documentation for real estate, estate planning, litigation, and business matters.
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
- Coordinate scheduling, maintain attorney calendars, and handle e-filing in state and federal courts.
- Assist in document organization, discovery, and trial preparation as needed.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a paralegal, preferably in a general practice or multi-disciplinary setting.
- Experience in areas such as litigation, real estate, probate, or transactional law is highly valued.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with document management and e-filing systems.
- Salary Range: $65,000 – $85,000, depending on experience.
