Overview

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to join our highly regarded Business Litigation group. This position is a full-time 5 days a week on-site position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Management:
    Prepare, proofread, and file documents such as pleadings, motions, and appeals. Maintain both paper and electronic filing systems.
  • Scheduling:
    Manage attorneys’ calendars, schedule meetings, court dates, and travel arrangements. Coordinate conference calls and meetings.
  • Client Interaction:
    Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals to schedule meetings and share information.
  • Trial Preparation:
    Assist in preparing binders and exhibits for court and manage case-related information and documents.
  • Billing and Invoicing:
    Process invoices, track payments and assist with the firm’s monthly billing process.
Qualifications
  • Five plus years’ litigation experience in legal or other professional services industry required and Trust & Estate experience preferred.
  • Skills:

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). Also, experience preferred with: iManage, Chrome River, Adobe, Sharefile, Docusign and Court Alert.
  • Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of legal terminology, court filing procedures, and case management.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Attributes:
    Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
