Paralegal

My client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Paralegal to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting legal cases, managing deadlines, and preparing essential documentation. This position offers substantial flexibility with opportunities for growth while contributing to meaningful work that champions fairness and justice.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in both federal and state court.

- Manage case deadlines by accurately calendaring important dates and ensuring timely submissions.

- Organize and maintain case files to ensure easy access and proper documentation.

- Assist in trial preparation, including gathering evidence and coordinating witnesses.

- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and development.

- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials in a detail-oriented manner.

- Utilize legal document management systems and e-discovery platforms to streamline case handling.

- Collaborate with attorneys to ensure efficient workflow and case progression.

- Uphold a commitment to plaintiff-side work by advocating for individuals treated unfairly.

Requirements - Minimum of two years of experience supporting cases in both federal and state courts, including trial support.

- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

- Ability to maintain a detail-oriented approach when interacting with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.

- Proficiency with legal document management systems and e-discovery tools.

- Demonstrated commitment to plaintiff-side legal work and advocating for justice.

- Knowledge of civil litigation, personal injury law, and workers' compensation.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with attorneys and team members.
